  1. Thank you, i like his overall, but can you expain to me the reasoning behind his 85 skate?

    1. When I watched him in the NCAA championship, to me, I didn't see him flying around the ice. Quick, yes, but over the top speed like Caggiula, no. In reading several scouting reports, I have read some say he has great speed but doesn't always use it effectively, others don't say it is a top attribute for him. I felt 85 was quick, but not over the top.

    2. For example, Caggiula has exceptional speed & 99% of the articles I read about him, and obviously watched him in the championship as well, that is true. His game is based around his speed, whereas Schmaltz is based around hockey sense, 2 way ability & creating chances for his linemates.

  2. He should have 85 offensive awareness

    1. What do you mean? You are free to make his attributes whatever you please if you feel mine are off.

  3. Sorry man, I really like his overall, and all his attributes. It's just some time I think like EA and his offensive awareness would be too high for EA because he hasn't played a full NHL season

  4. There is one thing, tho, that really messes with me, his deking. It's only at 87, and I think you should go on YouTube and search Nick schmaltz highlight reel goal(it was like that goal Mallon scored last year when he put the puck through his legs to go around the defender but even prettier)

    1. You can go on any Youtube channel & see almost any NHL prospect dangling around pylons in the NCAA or juniors... When I make Aito Iguchi here in a few days, he'll have 643678965467547 as his deking. I could truly care less about highlight reels - they only show the best of a player. An 87 deking means he can deke but he's not going to finish the deke perfectly every time. Is Crosby a 99 on every attribute, aside from fighting?

  5. I wasn't asking you to give him 99 dekeing, more like 88-89 because of the fact he a lot like tuevo teravainen, who had 90 dekeing last year, I was just saying, I'm sorry

    1. And that comment you replied to was the one I was supposed to delete, the other one was about him possibly becoming the best playmaker ever and possibly being Toews 2.0. I was just throwing out fun facts about him in that one and just saying he should have a little better passing. If this comment makes you pissed as well I'm sorry

  6. Is it fine if I share you what I think his ratings should be?
